“Babe” Hemmingway came to live with us when she was 14. She staggered in listless & weak. Her owners divorced & she outlived the closing date and neither had a home to take her to. Out of their love for her they brought her here to live out her last days. At the time of writing this over 2 ½ years ago and she is now in her 17th year and working towards her 18th.  Her life is full of stimulation. She is fit, her coat shiny from regular baths and swimming everyday in the summer. She is happy with her life here and may well stay into her 20’s or longer if she has anything to do with it.
